A Good Teacher is NOT a Boring One

The success of edu-cating and upbrin-ging of children de-pends on the perso-nality of a teacher, his professional skills, moral prin-ciples, erudition and cultural back-ground. This noble profession demands from a teacher’s constant creativity, understanding of children and love for them.
I reckon that a really good teacher can hardly be a boring one. The teacher must be a model of com-petence, so he is a person who is learning as well as teaching all his life. That`s why he must be aware of all new educational programs, be in a constant searching of interesting techniques to carry out them at lectures to keep pupils interested in the subject he teaches and so on.
A good teacher tre-ats his pupils with respect and values them as individuals. He understands that each child is unique and has special ta-lents and capabili-ties. That’s why he educates each pupil with special atten-tion to his or her interests and encourages each one to make his best in life. He helps children to develop their critical and creative thinking, to form their views and characters, their attitudes to life and to other people. He teaches them to work independently and cooperatively, to be helpful and useful. But a plain boring teacher can not do it: a teacher who doesn`t see the children`s individuals, who are not excited by the educational process itself and just work for money.
A good teacher will do his best to bring up honest and considerate, patient and tactful, self-confident, objec-tively-minded and self-disciplined people, able to face many challenges of adult life in a rapidly changing world. Not boring teachers` lessons are always inte-resting, catchy and un-usual; students want to attend them themselves. I am very lucky that we are taught by such te-achers: they are never lazy, always prepare something exciting for our lectures and involve us in new activities. Thanks to our teachers, we have learned how to make great presentations, photo stories, blogs, had a chance to turn into actors, directors, cameramen, writers, and I even have learned how to make cookies:) I thank them for it very much and for the great emotions that we have got. I hope one day I will also become a good not boring teacher and my students will be leveled at me.
